My name is Nicola, and I’m a sound designer and composer specializing in video games. Born and raised in Italy, I moved to Dublin at 25 to pursue studies in sound and music at the Sound Training College (2014–2017), followed by computer programming at IBAT College.
After returning to Italy in 2020, I continued my education in sound design and composition at the Comics School of Sound and later at MasAccademy. Over the years, I’ve collaborated on a variety of projects, from video games to advertisements and short films, taking on roles such as and sound designer, audio editor, foley artist and field recordist.
I’m currently collaborating with the indie studio SubcultJoint on the 2D metroidvania Cookie Cutter, where I handle sound design, music composition, and technical audio implementation.
Beyond audio, I’m deeply involved in the video game creation process, engaging with narrative design, gameplay systems, and development workflows through personal projects and collaborations with fellow developers. This holistic approach allows me to craft audio that truly supports and enhances the player experience from both creative and technical perspectives.
